Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience at US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), the National Security Agency (NSA), and/or other Intelligence Community (IC) partners to join our team in the Fort Meade, MD area with some occasional travel.  You will support multiple government clients on the development, acquisition, integration, testing and fielding of future Joint warfighting capabilities.

Responsibilities:

As a Cyber Operations SME with MTSI you will provide technical support to multiple government clients on the development, acquisition, integration, testing and fielding of high-technology capabilities and services for the Joint warfighter and intelligence community.  Additionally, you will serve as a proponent of MTSI’s research & development efforts for advanced cyberwarfare technology and enable the company’s recruitment of cyber operations expertise.  This position will perform primarily at or nearby Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, but may require some local travel and occasional travel to Texas, Georgia, and other sites.

Your essential job functions will include but will not be limited to:

  • You will serve as a senior advisor to high-ranking government officials on cyber warfare concepts, architectures, and weapons.
  • Advise government technical directors on development, testing, and evaluation priorities and requirements for cyber operations and cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and communicate advanced cyber warfare concepts and technical solutions.
  • Champion MTSI’s research & development investments in cyber warfare technologies.
  • Assist with MTSI’s recruitment, evaluation, and hiring of cyber operations talent.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of extensive experience leading the design, development, testing and evaluation of cyberwarfare capabilities with USCYBERCOM and/or Intelligence Community (IC) partners.
  • Extensive experience solving emergent and dynamic cyber operations challenges.
  • Extensive experience managing software acquisition and development.
  • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and networks.
  • Expert knowledge of programming languages such as C/Python/Assembly.
  • Expert knowledge of exploits for multiple operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Embedded Devices, Android, iOS.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience planning and leading Joint, integrated, multi-domain operations.
  • Knowledge of DoD cyber capability acquisition and developmental/operational test policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and Agile software development methodologies.
  • Graduate of the National Security Agency’s Computer Network Operations Development Program or USCYBERCOM’s Joint Cyber Development Program.
  • Graduate of the National Security Agency’s Remote Interactive Operator Training program.”

Education Requirements:

  • Master of Science degree in a relevant technical discipline (preferably computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) plus 15 years of related experience.

Certifications Requirements:

  • NA.

Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph with eligibility for Full Scope Polygraph.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position will operate primarily at or nearby Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, but may require some local travel and occasional travel to Texas, Georgia, and other sites.
