Space Intelligence Liaison

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Space Intelligence Liaison to join our team in the Fort Meade, MD area with some occasional travel to conduct other liaison support across the NCR region.  You will provide ISR and cyber support to USSF acquisitions and space control communities by providing subject matter expertise in discussions in pursuit of agreements and synchronization with mission partners.

Responsibilities:

As a Space Intelligence Liaison with MTSI you will be primarily responsible to provide ISR and cyber support to USSF acquisitions and space control communities by providing subject matter expertise in discussions in pursuit of agreements and synchronization with mission partners.  The possition will be located in the Fort Meade, MD area with some occasional travel to conduct other liaison support across the NCR region.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

  • You will provide or identify sources of subject matter expertise in support of multiple developmental efforts across Space and Cyber mission areas.
  • You will liaise with intelligence communities to provide analysis for developmental and operational efforts.
  • Provide subject matter expertise level support to space, cyber and SOF organizations or other mission partners.
  • Facilitate technical exchange meetings and training as needed.
  • Interact with technical team members from multiple organizations in a team environment.
  • Work independently for the customer at a client site, must be able to maintain requisite Security clearances and accesses.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years' of experience in the Intelligence & Cyber community.
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) principles and experience in supporting EW planning and operations.
  • Knowledge of offensive cyber principles and experience in supporting planning and operations.
  • Familiarity with various SATCOM systems & RF signals.
  • Experience in collaborating with the intelligence community with emphasis on NSA.
  • Experience with Intelligence support to military acquisitions or operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting intelligence reports to identify, communicate, and synthesize key aspects for development projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal daily oversight and dynamic tasking from multiple projects.
  • Skill in communicating technical approaches and details to small project teams virtually, including team interaction and presentations.
  • Skill in networking among multiple Intelligence and Cyber and SOF communities.
  • Self-starter with willingness to chase down answers, and network with the community to solve hard problems.
  • Skill in synthesizing information to understand and communicate challenges in order to find and relay answers to leadership and RRB team.
Desired Experience:
  • 4+ years' of experience in Network Analysis.
  • Demonstrated tactical and operational experience in military (Joint or Service) planning and conducting military intelligence activities.
  • Experience in All-Source Intelligence.
  • Experience in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT).
  • Previous experience with intelligence support to offensive DOD space, cyber, or SOF operations.
  • Knowledge of IP network transport & protocols.
  • Understanding theory and implementation of SATCOM protocols, systems, and standards.
  • Strong desire to keep technical skills current and remain abreast of emerging technologies and methods.
Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies and/or Cyber Technology or certification in related field.
Travel Requirements:
  • Travel up to 25% of the time with trip durations ranging from just overnight to several weeks.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance is required to start.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
