Responsibilities:

The entry-level position will join a team that will perform software installs/upgrades, troubleshoot software issues, complete software reinstalls when necessary to complete repair actions, and support initial hardware set-up. 

• Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.  
• Review existing technical solutions for improvements and efficiencies. 
• Performs analysis of system operations and has knowledge/experience in utilization of operating systems/database management systems. 
• Utilizes analytical data to identify operational trends and implement escalation and resolution techniques. 
• Provide feedback on continuous improvements efforts and processes. 
• Duties may also include conducting training to include operator, maintenance, and installation procedures. 
• Provide monthly status reports that detail the work performed for the previous month, to include, but not limited to, number of installations, work orders initiated, work orders closed, and training conducted, to include number of students along with completion dates of training.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance
• Security + certification required.

 Required Skills:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Ability to communicate technical computer to technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Microsoft Certified professional (MCP) certifications desired
• Must be compliant with Department of Defense Directive 8570 (DoDD 8570) Certification– IAT Level II within 6 months of employment
• Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, IP CONFIG) is desired
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Experience with CAISI, CSS VSAT, and networking a plus
• Up to 50% travel
