The Senior Facilities Project Manager will execute the daily project management activities needed for new building construction. Support for this position is expected to last 15 months.

Responsibilities:

• Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational and planning expertise to effectively support facility construction project.
• Apply project management knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive construction support strategy.
• Develop and be able to review Statements of Work and estimates; project implementation; monitoring cost, schedules, and performance; and managing customer expectations, identifying potential risks and resolving them.
• Work with the Security POC’s to assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating all security activities needed to ensure successful Program Integration Office (PIO) actions.
• Applies risk-management techniques in designing security compensatory measures to mitigate facility vulnerabilities.
• Coordinates on design specifications for every aspect of secure facility construction/modification.
• Coordinates with construction activities performed by a variety of private contractors, United States Army Corps of Engineers, Base Civil Engineering, including reviewing project plans and specifications for workability, informing USACE PM concerning status of government contractors in relation to the Integrated Master Schedule for construction and reporting requirements, and monitoring operations for conformance with project plans.
• Manages requirements and processes to ensure all requirements are submitted on time.
• Shall closely monitor secure facility construction, modification, and/or expansion endeavors and coordinate with the builder and Special Security Representative (SSR) to obtain/maintain facility accreditation.
• Setup, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, video teleconferences (VTC), and other conferences as required to support the construction effort.
• Work independently on tasks and exercise judgment in the execution of facility construction.
• Brief leadership on progress made in achieving performance goals and areas needing special attention.

Qualifications:

• A Senior Program Manager with related project/program management/coordination experience in the construction industry. A Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Logistics management experience in coordinating the execution of multiple projects in support of facilities/infrastructure construction.
• Experience managing and coordinating the activities of Special Access Facility (SAP-F) or Secret Compartmentalized Information Facilities (SCIF) projects.
• The position will require a current Top Secret (TS) clearance. Candidate must have a Secret clearance with completed investigation within the last six years, with the expectation of obtaining and maintaining a TS clearance.
• In-depth familiarization with the security facility guidance, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, Version 1.5, Technical specifications.
• Ability to independently utilize Microsoft Office Products and familiar with Microsoft Project or other Project Planning software.
