Responsibilities:

The prospective candidate will provide direct advisory and assistance support (A&AS) as a Senior Information Assurance Technical Expert - Cloud to U.S. Air Force customers in a U.S. Air Force Program Office. The customer Program Office provides planning and acquisition of cost-effective, long-term critical U.S. Air Force capabilities in an Integrated Product Team structure. The candidate will work side by side with customers and other A&AS contractors in the Program Office. Working with the customer, the candidate will also interface with major defense contractors who supply critical defense capabilities. The majority of the work will be performed in the customer work space. Some travel is expected.


The candidate will typically work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently and may also be responsible for the efforts of less senior staff.

• Apply knowledge and experience in Cloud Information Assurance (IA) engineering/technical principles, criteria, and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
• Provide Cloud IA products and in execution of the engineering/techncial support mission.
• Apply Cloud IA engineering/technical knowledge and experience to organize and manage resources and personnel needed to efficiently and effectively accomplish USAF and AFLCMC/WB acquisition objectives consistent with DoD 5000.02 policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum six (6) years of relevant IA experience.

• TS/SCI Clearance Required
• Technical Bachelor degree from an accredited university or ten (10) years of relevant IA experience.
• DoD 8570 Information Management (IAM) Level II Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certifications.
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certification.

Cloud design, application, and configuration experience:
- Various Cloud Service Provider (CSP) computing service models (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- CSP deployment models (e.g., Private, Hybrid, Community)
- Infrastructure as Code application and configuration in CSP deployment models
- Selection, application, and testing of security controls for a given CSP cloud implementation
- Mapping existing system security requirements transitioning to a cloud environment
- Evaluation of system security and information assurance requirements consistent with the

- Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, Committee for National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction 1253, Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53
- Development of system security and information assurance documentation consistent with the standards above to support system certification and accreditation as well as interim authority, and authority to operate, decisions.

Experience in evaluating CSP agreements for alignment with customer business and mission objectives.

Desired Qualifications:
• DoD IA experience.
• ACAT I program experience.
• Special Access Program (SAP) experience.
